Did You Know...

Oxygen Producing Plants

A plot of grass 10x10 will produce enough oxygen to keep a family of 4 alive for one year.

How Big is an Acre

An acre has 43,560 sq. ft.

Poisonous Plant

All parts of the Oleander plant (Nerium oleander), are poisonous. Ingesting oleander leaves can cause gastrointestinal, cardiac, and central nervous system problems and possible death. Watch out when you cut back your Oleander that the dried leaves don't blow into a pet's water dish, even though the leaves are dry they will still release poison as they become rehydrated and possibly kill the pet.

Wasp Sting Cure

If you are ever stung by a wasp, take a little bleach and dap some on the area of the sting. The pain will immediately go away. Absolutely amazing! A small bottle of bleach is something you might want to pack in your car or in a first-aid kit.
